Further to the Provincial Government's decision to extend the Covid-19 restrictions until January 8 2021, we will continue with virtual training December 9 and 16 and January 6. We will continue to monitor the situation and inform you when we can resume in person activities. Until then, we encourage you to continue to sign in weekly and participate in the learning activities the Senior Cadets have prepared for you.... As always, please do not hesitate to contact me directly if I can be of any assistance to you or your family. Stay safe. Lt(N) Valorie Logan Commanding Officer

We received notice from the Commanding Officer of HMCS Malahat that due to the alarming spike in Covid-19 cases on Vancouver Island, they are reducing the access to the facility. Effective immediately, in-person cadet training has been suspended until authorized by Naval Reserve Head Quarters (NAVRESHQ). We will continue to offer weekly virtual training and planned in-person optional training activities when they are approved by the Regional Cadet Support Unit.... We hope to resume in-person weekly training soon, please understand that the safety of our officers and your cadets remains our first priority. Yours Aye, Lt(N) Valorie Logan
