Here we are again. :( I have reviewed the restrictions and unfortunately pet grooming has been revoked as of Dec 26 for the next 28 days. Despite being able to operate curbside, grooming is not considered essential for the month long shut down. I have emailed the local bylaw for clarification and despite my protocols, and Covid precautions, I do not have their support to operate, at this time. All prebooked January appointments are canceled until further notice. To make sur...e those who missed an appointment in January are rescheduled first, new appointments will be available for MARCH, as February will be reserved for January clients. I understand if you are frustrated or upset, and I will be continuing to reach out to our local MPP to ensure concerns are heard. Bylaw has directed me to pass health and welfare issues to local veterinary clinics. I will be happy to answer grooming questions. For now this appears to be the reality of the situation. Thank you for your patience, and support. I assure you will be up and operating as soon as we have the green light! In the meantime, stay safe, and continue to brush your dog. If we all do our best to slow the spread, a month is not that long. I hope you all had a happy holiday season and I look forward to seeing everyone in the New Year. Laura

COVID UPDATE! Given the announcement yesterday on the situation in the Province, I have emailed the bylaw to confirm grooming may remain open for curbside. The retail WILL be open for curbside. All payments must be made via e transfer or over the phone credit.... If you have an appointment after Dec 26th, please be patient. If there are any changes all grooming clients will be notified. Unfortunately, the wording of the shut down has once again left grooming in a vague grey area. Enjoy the holiday season and try not to worry! Stay safe!
