NOV 15 UPDATE - Temporary Closure Notice: As you may have seen communicated earlier, we had an employee at our UBC location, who last worked Sunday, November 8th, test positive for COVID-19 on Thursday, November 12th. As a precautionary, voluntary measure, we made the decision to close the restaurant on Thursday afternoon and schedule a deep clean to be complete Friday, as we remained closed. Based on our conversation with health officials who deemed we were clear to re-op...en, we made the decision to re-open our UBC location for service again this past Saturday. However, we have since learned that a second employee, who last worked Thursday, November 12th, has tested positive for COVID-19. Neither of these employees were in close contact with any members of the public. However, as one can imagine even with all health & safety protocols in place, this is difficult news for our small team to hear. As such, we have made the decision to close our UBC location for an indefinite time as we assess our next steps. This decision was ours, and not ordered or asked of us by health officials. We are working with all team members to ensure they have access to mental health resources, and we are thankful for the well wishes for our affected employees.
