The Irvings are exempted from the repercussions of causing misery and death. Why is this so Premier King and Peter Bevan-Baker?

It gives us a glimmer of hope for the future when we listen to voices of integrity and intelligence such as Doug Campbell of the NFU. This man and his organization have unquestioned credibility. They know the farming business. They know how the Irvings operate, but above all, they actually care very deeply for our land and water. No lip service from Doug Campbell, just the straight truth. Some questions to ponder: Why, with hundreds of farmers under contract would Irvings want to acquire more and more land? Why task lawyers to circumvent the LPA by hook or by crook? Our Land's Protection Act is useless when the Irvings are involved. Sue me, they chuckle. You could actually leave a legacy by fixing this Premier King. Can we count on you to act ethically on our behalf?

King's definition of "Good government for the people": Do everything possible to make it appear that they are listening and acting on our behalf while kowtowing to the Irvings and other powerful groups. Sickening.

The King government so far has delivered the opposite of what they promised during the previous and now the current election campaign. Transparency, "for the people" " ME ARSE " as the old fellas say. What many Islanders find so galling is they shovel this shit to us and think we're all dumb enough to believe it.
