Here are a few quick tips to keep in mind during your winter expeditions! Wear proper footwear to avoid slips on the ice. Dress warm to avoid frostbite and hypothermia.... Stay connected during the winter months to fight wintertime depression. Have a safety kit ready in case of power outages (blankets, flashlights, radio, non-perishable foods) Since we don't get as much Vitamin D from the sun in the wintertime, adjust your diet accordingly!
