Thank you to all those that engage volunteers in their work-we celebrate and value the important work you do every day! Over the course of my career I’ve had opportunity and privilege to work with hundreds of volunteers that made me feel valued and appreciated, I’ve been grateful for the mentorship of volunteer manager colleagues and sector experts that continue to amaze in their brilliance. A good volunteer program never runs itself-volunteer managers work very hard to make sure things run smoothly and that the tremendous value of volunteer resources is ingrained into the organization. Today we recognize and celebrate the profession-let’s continue to look to the future with passion and confidence! #IVMDay20 #celebrate
