I always try to practice an attitude of gratitude, and now is no exception. As we navigate the "new normal" (are we sick of that term yet?), it might seem that we have to dig a bit deeper, but there is plenty to be thankful for. I am thankful to be here in Canada, with the resources available to us to weather these challenging times.... I am thankful for my good health and that of my family and friends. I am thankful for the sense of community, friendship and support that has revealed itself time and time again as we all deal with unprecedented situations. And, I'm thankful for my valued clients, colleagues, and professional contacts who have demonstrated flexibility, patience, and creative problem-solving on a number of projects. Thanks to all of you who continue to refer me to new clients, even as budgets are tightening and economic uncertainty remains. Have a peaceful, safe long weekend. A limited social bubble means that I plan to have more turkey dinner leftovers than usual, and hopefully some long walks around the Victoria region.
