Although 2020 has been a challenging year, there were some positive opportunities. The lockdown gave us time to be productive, creative and inventive. We were able to improve the way we do virtual consults and therapy sessions. For example, we did our first remote sports vision training sessions for Alberta’s top baseball athletes via Zoom. Even when the pandemic is over, we will continue to provide great virtual care for our patients who live far from the city as we always h...ad. In addition, Dr. Debbie Luk has been invited to sit on a new national committee for setting the Canadian requirements for optometrists who want to specialize in vision therapy. We hope you had some positives outcomes from this unusual year as well. With much gratitude, we are thankful for our patients and referring doctors who continue to support us.
