Slaughterhouses & Processing Plants Complete slaughterhouse wastewater treatment plants When implementing the WATEQ Sustainable Slaughterhouse and Processing Plant, all different kinds of resources can be recovered from wastewater and manure, such as biofuel, animal fat, fertilizers, energy, heat, and clean water to meet the industry sustainability requirements and bylaw standards for your (poultry) processing equipment. When realizing a complete turn-key WATEQ wastewater tre...atment plant, you can reduce your environmental footprint: * Reduce your wastewater surcharge cost and discharge water to sewer, river, or sea * Reduce your water intake costs * Reuse water for agricultural and production process applications * Recover resources and create the best and most economical business case 1) Packaged Containerized DAF units ( No city building approvals requirements) for direct discharge to the city sewer network. 2) Packaged Containerized complete WWTP ( DAF + Bioreactor + MBR filtration). 12 FACTS ABOUT COVID-19 VIRUS IN WATER: 1) COVID-19 virus is difficult to cultivate from a stool, indicating this is a harsh environment for the virus. 2) Safely managed tap water is very well protected against the COVID-19 virus. 3) Poor survival of SARS-COV-1 (very similar virus to COVID-19) in the water at > 20 C, indicates inactivity of COVID-19 virus in water. ... 4) Other viruses e.g. rotavirus is more persistent in water than the COVID-19 Virus. 5) Access to safely managed water supply and sanitation is important for any infectious disease, including COVID-19. 6) Household water treatment can remove viruses from water. 7) COVID-19 virus can be present on toilets and other surfaces. 8) Washing hands with soap regularly is an effective way to prevents spread through surfaces. 9) COVID-19 virus spreads through water droplets from coughing or sneezing or contaminated surfaces. 10) Presence of infections COVID-19 virus very unlikely. 11) The treatment plant acts as a barrier against the COVID-19 virus and other viruses. WATEQ MBR Plants incorporate the most up to date wastewater treatment technology, namely that of submerged Membrane Biological Reactor (MBR). These Package MBR offer a smart solution that surpasses other conventional ones of similar capacities, both in terms of compactness and performance. These units are completely autonomous and provide a high level of treatment, combining Biological Treatment + Ultrafiltration (UF) + Disinfection. They are produced in compact units of IS...O-container dimensions for easy shipment and installation and are suitable for decentralized treatment facilities with high effluent requirements. WATEQ MBR design philosophy can also be used for bigger capacity installations where the biological reactors can be built locally either in concrete or modular steel. The Membrane Operating System (membrane cell and machine room) is of packaged form, thus offering all the benefits of a smart prefabricated solution. WATEQ MBR systems for the small packaged plants (i.e. up to 200 m3/d), incorporate flat sheet UF membranes of high packing density and for packaged units with capacities ranging from 300 up to 5,000 m3/d they incorporate reinforced hollow fiber UF membranes. #COVID19 We've had a distributed workforce at WATEQ for many years, with international offices and partners, in UAE, KSA, Egypt, Morocco and a head office Canada. To help other small and medium sized businesses trying to figure out how to communicate with each other, I'll give you an example of a few things you can do quickly:... BASECAMP - for group discussions, project management, startup reports and photos, trip reports and photos, and to build an intranet for knowledge and training GOOGLE DOCS - for collaborative efforts to draft an important letter, marketing piece, spec review. SKYPE, WhatsApp, KAKAO, WeChat, ZOOM- Some companies use Slack - we've had some issues finding a single app that everyone likes, so we use a few of them, including intra-office when we have a quick question for a colleague, or if we want to have a virtual company or client meeting on a big screen in a conference room. SHAREPOINT- Works great for shared project files, drawings, and scanned documents, and Office 365 is generous with storage for linked Sharepoint sites. Dropbox also works well and some of us use that, too. CHROME REMOTE DESKTOP - if you have any local software, install this add-on to your Chrome browser to use your office desktop remotely from home.
