Say hi to Rudy This boy is here for our Board and Train program. He has shown some concerning behavior on leash when he sees other dogs. Lunging, barking, spinning were his go to's. His amazing owners realized this was a growing concern and decided to nip it now... stay tuned.

Put the work in, you can "change" a life This dog came into our Board and train program for reactive, fearful dogs. He had a multiple bite history He was terrified of life in general He thought he only had one option... fight for what he thought was his life ... It's been a lengthy process... one that will go on for the rest of his life But I can happily say, his life will go on We have had a lot of frustrating, angered, panicked moments on this road. He spent the first 2 weeks here unable to have his muzzle removed because he would strike at anyone for anything. He will remained muzzled for a lot of things he'll face in his life... it keeps him and everyone else safe when he's stressed. But he also understands, muzzle is a command, just like sit, or down... Non negotiable when told to do it His owners will continue on with his maintenance training for the rest of his life...I will give them the knowledge, tools and support they need . Thank you for trusting the process See more

It's that time of year again where we start to see an increase of "dog colds" I've found an amazing product to help give my dogs a little natural boost to their immune system. Turkey tail mushrooms combined with other antioxidants in this formula from Four Leaf Rover I've been using this particular brand for a month now and so far so good. If your dog is showing any signs of feeling a little off... lack of appetite, coughing, sneezing, runny eyes... we ask that you be a res...ponsible pet owner and keep them away from contact with other dogs. If your dog is showing signs of extreme respiratory distress, bring them to a vet asap. The "dog cold" aka kennel cough is typically a minor and sometimes common event in a dogs life... it is highly contagious to other dogs yet rarely dangerous. Be vigilant in not letting your dog greet unknown dogs and avoid dog parks during outbreak periods... just like us, the most typical remedy is rest and recovery... Immune boosting supplements and a healthy diet and weight can be the best methods of helping your dog stay healthy... See more

When the trainer walks away... After we fix the dogs broken mindset, After we put hundreds of hours into building them back up... After we help save their lives because you hired us to..... THE REST IS UP TO YOU...THE OWNER. Good trainers, spend time explaining things to both ends of the leash... They make sure to give owners the knowledge, skills, tools and support to continue with the rehabilitation process. Your dog is a freshly reformed addict... The have had their time in detox... They have had "counseling " They have worked out their demons... They are coming out of the "Behavior modification "halfway house... They are in recovery... the same as any addict... Alcohol Drugs Sex Shopping Would you bring the alcoholic to the bar to celebrate their sobriety? The drug addict to their dealer? The sex addict to their brothel? The shopping addict to the mall? I bet you wouldn't dream of it... Because you wouldn't want them to fail... You'd support them in their recovery... You'd make sure you did things to keep them from slipping You'd celebrate the one day at a time mentality... So why is it when the trainer walks away, most people put the dog right back into the environment that created their affliction in the first place? Resource guards bones? Here have a fresh smoked cow bone Runs away ? Let me cut you loose off leash and hope you make good choices? Has bitten everyone in the house... Let me just take off that muzzle on your first day, week or month home... Cause what could go wrong? FUCKING EVERYTHING... Dog trainers are professionals in their field We don't just tell you to follow protocols because it sounds cool... We tell you because they work... The things you tried before reaching out for professional help... didn't Thats why we are all here in this moment... To get the dog and owners the help they need Like your doctor telling you to avoid cheeseburgers and quit smoking because you just had a quadruple bypass... I don't understand why people think these are suggestions... You've invested in your dog... You want the best for them... If they can't be helped the options are potentially death... But you don't want to put in the work to maintain the structure your dog desperately needs to survive in a healthy state... I'm asking... because I truly deeply NEED to know... WHY? Do you feel bad for changing/saving their lives? Do you feel like they resent you for implementing rules in the house? Does following through with consequences for actions make you hate yourself?... For the love of dog, someone please shed some light on this for us trainers around the world trying our best to give you the best. I've said it before and I'll say it again... dog ownership is a lifelong commitment. It's not always peaches and roses. Like anything in life it requires, practice, patience and lifelong commitment to uphold... So PLEASE ... do your dog a favor... Live up to being the person they think you are... Simply amazing

Starting all over again... This little guy has wanted everything his way... Yes he is fearful... Yes he has bitten everyone ... including me He learned that biting worked whether it was because he did or didn't want to do something ... But his owner has trusted me to rebuild him into the best possible version of himself See more
