SUP Throwdown event Two pics are now up at @boldphotosbyshelly! Partner 800 meter run holding a rubber band. Or was it an 800 meter partner dance? Nothing but a rubber was gonna break them apart.

Take a scroll over to @boldphotosbyshelly for all the EVENT ONE - WOD - photos. I don’t think I’ve seen athletes laughing and dying at the same tine before. These are some of our faves from the first event. Amazingly captured by Shelly #supthrowdown

How awesome is to be able to use your health and fitness for a good cause and raise money for an awesome charity. Together we donated $1400 to the Black Health Alliance. Black Health Alliance is a community-led registered charity working to improve the health and well-being of Black communities in Canada. Thank you to all the supporters, athletes, coaches, photographers and especially Dynasty Weightlifting for being an amazing host for the WOD.

At the sound of the horn Partner "A" jumps onto to the board and will paddle an easy to follow course to a designated buoy and back to the beach and run through a chicane with paddle in hand while Partner "B" repositions the board. Once Partner "A" has completed a very short sprint through the chicane, he or she will hand over the paddle to Partner "B" and Partner "B" will then paddle the same lap. There will be a minimum of 4 laps per team. Exact number of laps will be determined at the time of the event to a maximum of 6 laps per team. Breonna Taylor would have been 27 today. But she was killed two months ago when police broke down the door to her apartment in an attempted drug sting, and shot her eight times. None of the police officers involved have been charged. The senseless killings of Black people must stop. On Saturday June 6th let’s set an example of oneness not just on land but on the ocean as well. We are united. Speak out for injustice. This paddle out is inspired by @blackgirlssurf ... 2 meters apart, together on the water. Rain or Shine

Amazing to have raised $3517 as a community for #burpeesforthebushfires. Every dollar raised equaled 1 burpee. Thanks to everyone that donated and came out to participate. Sending money was one of many way of helping but it’s just as important to educate ourselves on how we impact climate change. As Australia is burning the Antarctic is melting. @dynastygym @crossfitnewwest @tofinoathletics @crossfitkitsilano @ovrdriveathleticclub @pandaperformancelab @raincityathls @crossfitbc @crossfitlions @dynastyweightlifting @campuscrossfit
