Wondering why we're so behind on posting our fabulous monthly names? From September until today our Midwives have been out catching around 50 babies! As well as navigating a health system during a pandemic! We welcomed 19 babes in July, including our very own midwife Ella’s sweet baby girl! Welcome to the world little ones!

We are so thrilled to announce that our wonderful midwife Ella gave birth to a perfect 6lbs 9oz baby girl at 01:26 on July 23, 2020. Leva (pronounced Leh-va) was guided into this world by Clio and Zoe, with the support of her husband Bobby. We could not be more happy for you Ella and Bobby, and we are so lucky to have been able to be a part of your beautiful journey to parenthood. Welcome to the world wee one! You are so loved.

Today was the lovely Ella’s last day of clinic before her maternity leave! We will miss her loads, but are so looking forward to meeting her sweet babe!

Our midwives were busy in May, guiding 26 wee ones into the world! Welcome sweet babies!

It's urgent and necessary for there to be more Black midwives providing safe and supportive care to the Black birthing community. For this reason, the BIPOC Midwifery Collective from Ontario created the Ontario Black Midwifery Student Relief Fund to ease the financial burden of aspiring Black midwives. The majority of midwives in Canada are educated in Ontario, and Black aspiring midwives need our support in order to join our profession! ...
