Dexter was born in 1995 to two nurses and grew up in Canmore, Alberta. Charmed with his father’s dry wit, his mother’s big heart, along with his own personal brand of cool, Dexter carried on the family trade by becoming a nurse. For me, climbing captures the charm and curiosity of life. From the loneliness of the early morning starts, to the sharp contrast between the camaraderie of climbing with a friend, then being on an exposed face so alone, feeling smaller than ever testing your mental and psychical capacity to complete the route. Finally, there is the opportunity to explore inwardly, to learn about my capabilities and my limits. The challenge of climbing away form security, unsure of what lies... ahead, a few times caught out crying not knowing how I got here or where I was going. However, it’s the dance with risk and security, the physical and mental demands of our sport that keep me hungry for more. . We didn’t really know Heather before our trip to Skaha, but her quirky personality and unbridled energy quickly made us laugh so hard with her. We work with people that inspire us, we love the people that are passionate about many different things. A passionate all-around climber and ultra-runner, @madison.dusseau chose to live in Mammoth Lakes, California where she could be close to the activities she loves and connected to Mother Earth. She enjoys the slower way of life Mammoth offers. It allows her to play when she is not busy with life. "I work quite a bit these days, and get outside when I'm not. She manages a ...boutique in town called Tonik, and also serves at the Mammoth Tavern. All while going to school to pursue a career in visual merchandising/marketing, "But I have also been considering redirecting my degree towards sustainability, and focusing my efforts on how to make the retail industry more sustainable through better packaging and shipping." .
