There have been so many people who have been instrumental to shaping my career over the past several years since I entered the trades. Among those teachers, colleagues, and friends; Geoff Scheck has been one of the most significant. We are not all so fortunate to work for someone who not only maintains a workforce, but creates a working family. I remember my first impression when I met him and started working at AccuFab; the shop was so clean and the work so precisely done ...that I thought for sure I didn't meet the caliber that was going to be required to succeed there. But, Geoff could make anyone fit in and feel at ease after you got to know him. He knew mistakes were natural along the learning curve, and that is such a rare quality in business and deeply reflective of other aspects of his personality. This Friday, January 15th at 1p.m. there will be a chance for those who wish to watch his funeral service to tune in online. Huge shout out to 3 other local welders that came and bit a chunk off this job for Torque Tire LTD yesterday!! The Wembley Mudbogs are coming up fast! (too fast..) This weekend these wheels should be going for a maiden voyage on Torqued Up by Torque Tire LTD Tomorrow a team of talented local welders will be showing up to help me get these finished up and race-ready for Saturday & Sunday!

It's been such a pleasure seeing this build come together from wayy back when it was a service truck up til now! Thanks Derek Hambly with Torque Tire LTD for having me work on this!

Sometimes metalwork isn't about building something beautiful and consistent, but about throwing something innovative together in a hurry to roast a fresh pig with good company! Really glad to have had the opportunity to enjoy a real, whole, spit roast pig right off the farm.
