The ice is in! We're ready for Open House. There will be 6 sheets with physical distancing lanes between sheets. Spots to stand are in the ice for the team that is not delivering a stone. Dear Fellow Curlers: The Board of Directors and the Re-Opening Committee are pleased to share the Welland Curling Club's first version of their Return to Play Guidelines for our 2020-21 season. The Guidelines are now posted on our Club’s website Front Page and Members Home Page. We trust this document will provide the information a member would need to make an informed decision whether to register to curl this season. Regrettably, it will never please everyone but for those t...hat are, acceptance is with little ambiguity. The Board has revised our Membership Fee Refund Policy to fully refund paid memberships should the Club not open for the season. In addition, the Policy has a refund mechanism if the Club closes for a substantial portion of the season. Please review the Policy found on our website under Membership/Information and after logging in on the Home Page. Although Early Registration Fee Discounts are available to Sept 25th (for manual applications) and Oct 10th (for online registration) please register as soon as possible. It will significantly assist the Club in its planning. Any member from last year who has decided not to curl this year please assist the Club in its planning by e-mailing [email protected] as soon as possible. Thank you. The Return to Play Guidelines are meant to be a living document and members should expect updates and edits in the coming weeks and throughout the season. Changes may need to be made but be assured, our guidelines will always adhere to government regulations. The Board of Directors encourages all members to reach out with their questions about the Return to Play Guidelines.
