Westcoast Tire remains open as an essential part of the transportation needs of our customers, especially those who provide emergency services and are on the front line. We are asking that Winter/Summer tire change overs be delayed at this time. Our updated Hours of Operations are:... Tuesday to Saturday 9:00am - 5:00pm Please note that our Waiting Area, Lobby and Office remain closed until further notice. We have taken several additional measures to ensure the safety of our customers, staff and families and here's how you can help us! Remain in your vehicle when you arrive at the store. We will come to you, or you can call us from your vehicle (250) 642-4044. Drive your own vehicle into the work bay. Remain in your vehicle while service is being completed. If possible process your payment over the phone or via e-transfer. (We have enhanced the safety of our office for those customers who must pay debit - see photos) Call (250) 642-4044 for any questions. Please note we will not be resetting TPMS sensors at this time, if it requires us sitting in your vehicle - for our safety and yours. The Westcoast Tire shop is open and our team is available to help you for any essential service, however our waiting area will be closed until further notice.... For the time being, we have also reduced the number of staff members working at one time and reduced our shop hours. What You Can Do: Please drive your car into the bay Wait in your car or outside the front of the building Help us process your payment via telephone or e-transfer Please do not visit us if you are experiencing any of the following symptoms (mild or severe): Fever Cough difficulty breathing/shortness of breath Please do not visit us if you, or someone you live with has recently travelled to an area with an ongoing spread of Covid-19, or if you have been in contact with someone experiencing symptoms or who is known to have Covid-19. Celebration of Life Sooke Community Hall Sunday, January 13, 2019 1:00 - 4:00 pm... It is with heavy hearts that we inform you that the owner, Jeff Seabrook, of Westcoast Tire has passed away unexpectedly the morning of January 2, 2019. As we are a family/friend operated business, please know our staff are still very much processing the grief and shock of the loss of their Husband, Uncle, Father-in-law, Grandpa and friend. With amazing strength the staff have opted to keep "The Shop" open and running, as they know that is what Jeff would have wanted. We would also like to pass along a warm and heartfelt thank you to this amazing island community who has helped support and watch this family island business grow.
