Hello Friends, We are so excited to start a new year full of swing! This year classes will be on Mondays and Fridays 6-7pm but we can always stay after class and just practice what we have been learning and do some social dance if the room/location is available to us.... Our first class will be next Monday, on the 23rd of September. At the moment, we can’t book a room for the semester, so we will be changing rooms constantly. For the 23rd and 27th of September classes, we will be hittin’ that jive at the concrete beach; fresh air and swing! (Concrete beach is the stage in front of the main UCC entrance) If you are busy and can't make it to one of the classes during the week, don't worry because, on Fridays, we will go over the moves we learned on Monday. So, you won't miss anything! (Well, except the fun!) As promised, the first two weeks will be free (if you’re still not sure if you want to join, this is a good way to dip your toes in the Lindyhop pool!). After the two-week trial period, our fee will be only 10$ for the whole year which includes all the classes (this is an outstanding deal, as generally speaking, swing dance classes cost around $15 a lesson). Hey guys! Unfortunately, we couldn't find rooms for the next two weeks. Luckily, Julia Buker has offered her home to keep lessons going! We'll be starting a bit later tonight, around 6:50, and we'll have a code of conduct to sign for this period (since, y'know, this is someone's apartment). Please message Julia for details!

Hi everyone, First off, we would like to apologize for the delay in communication. These past two weeks we have been figuring out logistics for dance space. Due to the construction in Thames Hall, we are no longer able to use the Tower Room. That being said, we have different locations being used for our lessons in the coming weeks, as well as different days. NEXT WEEK, lessons will be from 6:30-7:30pm in the UCC Community Room (269) on Monday January 21st and Wednesday Janua...ry 23rd. For the two weeks after, we do not quite have space ready yet as this location is not available at those times. However, we are working towards a solution for this and should have an update by next week. We will post another update with this information when it is available. Other dates that have been booked past this interruption include February 11th, 13th, 25th, and 27th from 6:30-7:30pm, all in UCC 78. Please note the location change for these. Once again, we would like to apologize for the delay and inconvenience for this. We look forward to seeing everyone next week for the beginning of 8-count swing lessons!
