Fed Cattle Set-Aside Program - Phase Two Participants can apply to participate in a bid window any time during the initiative, but are required to submit the application, in AFSC Connect, 5 days prior to opening of the first bid window they wish to participate in. Participants will need to ensure they have an active AFSC ID and AFSC Connect account in place. First bidding window scheduled to start 9:00 am on June 29 to noon on July 1 with acceptance or rejection notices being issued Friday July 3.

Current backlog is estimated at 130,000 head. The good news is that number should not get any larger.
