What a great way to spend Family Day! Thanks to all our snowmen participants. You guys did a great job!! They all looked fabulous!!

Snowy day at Westwood Lake. We got about 8 up here. We will make snowmen tomorrow. Stay tuned to seeing who the winner will be.

Valentines Dinner at the Mahle House in Cedar. Always great food and service. One dinner was a roasted Pork dinner and the other was Chicken. Dessert really got the tastebuds going too. Loved it!

Today we went to the new business called Ironworks in downtown Nanaimo. The Powerhouse crepe we had was sooo delicious. Look forward to going there again to try something different. Nice to see so many people downtown supporting small businesses.

Had a Cod Burger w/fries and a bowl of Seafood Chowder at Kelly’s Kitchen for lunch in Nanaimo. A super great place to have breakfast too. One of our favourites.

Great Birthday dinner we had at the View tonight. Amazing food and our waitress was fantastic!! I totally recommend this restaurant as well. Please support local businesses.

We donated $550.00 to the North Island Recovery Centre a few days ago. Some of that money was raised at our Halloween Event this year. Feels good to help those businesses struggling right now. If you have never been there, I totally recommend it, as it is very educational and they give the animals a great place to recover so they can hopefully go back into the wild. A great thing to do with the family over the holidays.

Great get away for the weekend on Protection Island. Great waterfront cabin was nice and cozy. Enjoyed relaxation and checking out the island. The weather was so awesome too!

Let me know if any of you are interested. My friend Rose guarantees all her food products. We buy her canned foods all the time and we love everything she makes.

Quennell Lake, an awesome place to have a peaceful paddle. Check out the rock face. Located between Cedar and Yellow Point.

We would like to thank all those friends who participated and donated in both the Witch and Halloween events. The Witch event raised $1200.00 for Haven House and we raised $300.00 for SPCA. It was the perfect weather for a spooktacular Halloween night. Definitely one to remember.
