Whimsical Nautical Art with Wood

These little 18" tall boat shelves are really cute. A great gift for the cottager or nautical home decor. I built them and they can be purchased at Martello on Brock at 66 Brock Street in Kingston. You really have to go there.

A huge whimsical fish. The little fish is on a piece of bouncy spring steel.

These are the cutest nautical gift every. "Crayon boats" are made op of a custom river steamer toy cleverly drilled out to hold several colourful crayons. Each boat comes with a new box of crayons. The best thing about these crayon boats is, when the crayons are long gone, the children (and their children) have a toy to play with at the lake or river at Gamma's house. No two crayon boats are ever the same. Even the boats are colourful and fun.

Who wouldn't love to have a solid Canadian black cherry cheese board shaped like a fish! These little boards make perfect dinner guest hostess gifts and are very handy in the kitchen and for cutting up veggies, and/or serving cheese. Thanks for looking. Can I make a few for you? Lert me know.

I call this "Pursuit fish". I have made several of these. I donated one to WPBS Public Television in Watertown, NY for their fund raising auction one year. Perhaps you would like me to build you one for yourself or as a gift. This one was approximately 41" long. All reclaimed wood from a boathouse. Enjoy!
