In ten freaking days... I’ll be 40... Been looking through old photos & wondering where the heck my fave earrings have gone!?!?

Here’s a quick virtual trip back to grade 12! My first trip to Scotland was in 1998, this was a particularly difficult time in my life. So coming across this picture connects me to my philosophy that life always has some silver lining is true. I gotta say, using this time to reflect daily has been overwhelming and joyful.

I’m turning 40 soon; drinking Deanston 40... 2020 is off to a good start.

Can't wait to see you in Ottawa @thewhiskyexplorer. The Victoria Whisky Festival is off to a fantastic start! We kicked things off with a private tasting at an exclusive mansion overlooking the ocean with some of the biggest whisky fans around! Spending the afternoon sipping special expressions from Deanston, Bunnahabhain, and Tobermory with these folks was a memory I don’t think any of us will soon forget!... I’ve had one of my best experiences here, not only with two EXTREMELY FUN masterclasses, but also just getting to chat to an incredibly knowledgeable and passionate group of malt mates. During the festival we launched the new Glenmorangie Quinta Ruban 14 years old, our port cask finished expression. It was safe to say it was a hit!!
