Dear HUB Whistler friends, Thank you so much for your loyalty to the HUB fitness classes, and for your patience regarding our communication about HUB operations! In the past weeks we reviewed the operations, and we have some exciting news for you!... Going forward, the HUB classes will no longer be offered by us, but we are opening up the space to the individual trainers to rent the space and equipment, to run their fitness and wellness classes themselves. Not only trainers, but also community groups will be able to rent the HUB space to run their own fitness and wellness programs in the facility. So while this means that the HUB Fitness classes will not be continuing as before, we are confident that the new operation model will result in a bigger variety of classes and a more flexible class schedule! We already have confirmation from some of our core HUB trainers that they will continue classes in the space, so you will be able to continue your training! Rest assured that all future classes will be run with enhanced health & safety protocols to help limit the spread of COVID-19 in the community. Those of you who have an active HUB Fitness pass (season pass or 10-time punch card) will receive a prorated refund, as classes going forward will be run individually through the different trainers. To receive your refund, please get in touch with me through email or by phone at 604-964-0031. As I do not have every Hub participants contact, feel free to forward this email onto anyone you know who participated in Hub fitness classes. For future programming at the HUB, please continue keeping an eye on our HUB Fitness Whistler website (www.whistlersportlegacies.com/hubfitnesswhistler), as we will provide updates and links to trainers offering classes in the HUB. Whistler Sport Legacies, Performance Hub focus has always been, and will always be to grow sport, to promote healthy living, and to offer community access to our Olympic legacy venue! I am happy to answer any questions you may have at this time. Tami
