Sport has provided me and my clients a base of principals to work from. We agree intelligent training and skill development is paramount for long term success (shout out Accel training and Joey Nemet program for getting me to this point). This to many of your surprise, requires hours of work per day. It’s not all weights sprints and protein. No no no. We must work on skills, review of skills, academic study, nutrition for recovery, and full on rest. So Where to start? Well,... with exercise, start somewhere. Go for a walk/day. If you can get passed that add squats or lunges to your walk...then add some other stuff and POW placebo effect will begin doing its thing! ...until we plateau then it’s time to periodize (change it up)! In my opinion, Look at your food supply. How much processed garbage do you ingest? If over 30% of the food in your house is processed garbage food, it is unlikely you will get the results you want...UNLESS, you are willing to put fourth even more effort into your physical development...and from what I see folks, most walk the past of least resistance when it comes to physical development. You will get what you put in, you may not get what you want, but you will likely ‘discover what you need’ ... great tune Reach out, if I can help, I’ll do what I can.
