Lets be real here, in some ways 2020 was a bit of a wash. We lost out on time with family and friends, some small businesses sadly didn't make it and many people felt unmeasurable sadness from losing their family members to COVID. Many of us sunk to our very lowest, but climbed back up and are all better for it. We learned what resilience looks and feels like and have adapted and found new ways to connect. What mindset are you entering 2021 with? Are you bringing the heaviness from this past year with you or are you living a lighter, more mindful life? What lessons did 2020 teach you that will improve 2021 and bring more of whatever you need to the year? Sending you all so much love and Light this New Years.

The song I played in Savasana in last nights class has such special meaning to me. It's the song I sang to Brinley for the first years of her life. Every night, I would rock her to sleep singing it over and over and over again. Friends, This is a really important post. Please know I'm writing with love and deep breaths. COVID has been difficult for every business. It's hard to navigate new protocols (especially when they continue to change often and quickly) and to do our best to keep everyone feeling safe and healthy. And while it's difficult and costly for every businesses, it's especially devestating for small businesses. My rental costs have increased by 95% and, with Ford's latest announcemen...t, I am now having to limit class sizes to less than half of my previous registrants. Some of you will be receiving messages that I can no longer offer you a space in class. This tears my heart out. My goal has always been to make yoga accessible to everyone and now I am being forced to limit spaces. It's the exact opposite of what I have built Wildflower on. Us small businesses NEED your support right now. Many of us are contemplating whether we can financially afford to continue operating our businesses. Please be patient with us. Please know we are trying our hardest to do what's right while following changing protocols and mandates. Please support us so that when the world goes back to normal, we can support you. Thanks for reading this post and for allowing me a place to share my reality. Many lessons will come from 2020 and my hope is that one of them is that supporting small and local business is beyond important. I have so much love for you all.
