The UCP AGM was well worth the time! Of all the conventions that I’ve participated in over the last 30 plus years this one delivered one of the clearest messages on a number of issues. Political correctness was not a major factor, but support for freedom and rights and all that entails was front and center. Now we wait and see what the UCP leader and caucus do with it.

Excited to attend the founding convention of the UCP! Will this latest conservative effort be effective agent for advantaging Alberta and Albertans within our federation? I am hopeful.

I am pleased with the election on Jason Kenny as the leader of the UCP. Looking forward to the next merger of the leader with the grassroots

I've made my choice, the next few hours will reveal if my opinion was shared by the grassroots

The 2016 Wildrose AGM is over, an event I attended in the hopes of discovering the olive branch extended to all conservatives. Although the majority of attendees I talked to had experienced the same predominant conversations among the electorate concerning the need for unity, the party leader publicly denounced any options short of joining the Wildrose party. Don't get me wrong, the Wildrose Party may very well form the next government, but at what cost! To me it seems evident that politics is becoming less polarized around party brand and more around political ideology. The information the electorate is looking for is no longer based in party policy but their ideological home, which is fractured by brand. Let's strive to deliver to the voters a united choice. With respect Paul
