Although we may go into code red soon I’m still so hopeful that change will happen. We’ve all been through a storm and the rainbow is going to shine soon.

Dear 2021, Please fill our lives with less worry, celebrations, more love, a new view on life.

Day 1 My friend @jenn.gauntlett asked me if I wanted to do a 31 day photo challenge for the month of January. This is so exciting for me as I get to still be creative during lockdown. I felt this was a great first photo. Saying goodbye to 2020! I can’t wait to see the adventures 2021 has in store!

As I finish up this gallery I have to be real for a moment. I was going through a time where I wanted to change my style of editing. For me, I was thinking hmm.. maybe I should try light and airy or a warmer style. The truth is as I tried some new styles I kept coming back to this one. Rich contrast and colour. The heart wants what the heart wants. Every photographer has their own signature style, that’s what makes them artists. When you’re choosing a photographer make sure you love their style of editing. Now I realize my style isn’t for everyone and that’s okay. We’re all different and we all have different tastes. For now this is my style and I love it. Thank you for reading. -Aimee

Thinking back to last winter. We had no idea our life would change so drastically a year ago. Reminder to check in with friends and family. I know this holiday is going to be different and maybe difficult for some.

3 years ago I went totally out of my comfort zone and paid for a mentorship in Colorado. It was the best thing I’ve ever done for myself! 3 years ago I didn’t realize the blood, sweat and tears that comes with owning a photography business. It’s not as easy as it looks. I continue to learn more and more every day. I’m not where I want to be in my business just yet but I know in a few years I will be. Don’t be afraid to go out of your comfort zone. You never know where you’ll end up
