Meet Our Team Board Member: Susan Forsyth Susan has been a Real Estate Broker in the Durham Region for over 28 years. She created Clarington Safety Day in 1996 that partners with Durham Regional Police and Clarington Fire. She also developed Heavens Gift, which is a program that gives children under the age of 12 a Teddy Bear with a personalized message from their loved one in heaven.

Meet Our Team Board Member: Blaine McCauley Blaine is a former professional hockey player and current vice principal at an elementary school. He volunteers most of his time to coaching lacrosse with the Halton Hills Bulldogs Jr. B lacrosse team. His family is very well known in the hockey world. His father was legendary NHL Referee John McCauley and his brother is currently one of the best NHL referees, Wes McCauley.

Meet Our Team Board Member: Sarah Macalisang Sarah has most recently worked for the Oshawa Generals as their Digital Marketing Coordinator for the past 3 years. She has been a freelance graphic designer since 2011. Sarah also volunteers her time with SickKids Foundation, MLSE Foundation and the Hockey Hall of Fame. ... Everyone deals with their grief differently. ... We can all make a difference by spreading awareness and sharing this post. 1 in 14 children in Canada will experience the death of a loved one by the age of 18. 1 in 18 children in Canada will experience the death of a parent or sibling by the age of 18. Most of you probably didn’t realize how high these numbers are. As our population continues to grow throughout Canada, these numbers unfortunately continue to rise.
