WFCU Credit Union has been closely monitoring COVID-19 developments. As we navigate this dynamic situation, we are required to adapt the branch experience. To ensure optimum branch staffing levels we will be implementing the following service-level changes in an effort to continue to provide our members with access to all of our services across our branch network. Effective Friday, November 20, 2020 our Downtown Branch is TEMPORARILY CLOSED.... These changes will allow WFCU Credit Union to maintain optimum staffing levels across our branch network. Members continue to have access to their finances and are able to complete their banking transactions using our digital banking services including online and mobile banking, smartphone apps, Interac e-transfers, as well as live and automated telephone banking services to complete their financial transactions where possible. On Monday, November 16 our Leamington branch will be opening their doors to walk-in traffic. The Leamington branch will be open Monday-Friday, 10am 4:30pm and Saturday, 10am 2pm for routine transactions. We're bringing the fun and excitement of trick-or-treating to children in the Windsor-Essex community this Halloween in a safe, contactless, unique way through the WFCU Credit Union Trick-or-Treat Drive Thru Event. As a result of Covid-19, we understand that many are looking for safe alternatives to traditional trick-or-treating. The WFCU Credit Union Trick-or-Treat Drive Thru Event, which will be hosted at WFCU Credit Union’s four drive thru locations (Amherstburg, Leamingto...n, South Windsor and Tecumseh) on Halloween afternoon, Saturday, October 31, 2020, between 3:00-5:00 p.m., will allow children to have the trick-or-treating experience from the comfort and safety of a vehicle. Strict Covid-19 safety measures will be in place including: All visitors MUST remain in their vehicles Contactless delivery of Halloween treat bags Drive thru drawers will be sanitized between each vehicle Mask wearing and hand sanitization When participating in WFCU Credit Union’s Trick-or-Treat Drive Thru Event, participants are asked to follow the below instructions: 1. Arrive at one of WFCU Credit Union’s four drive through locations (Amherstburg, Leamington, South Windsor or Tecumseh). 2. Pull up to our drive thru teller window. 3. Children are encouraged to say ‘trick-or-treat’ from the safety of the vehicle and WFCU Credit Union staff will hand treat bags through the drive thru drawer. 4. The adult driving the vehicle is asked to retrieve the treat bags from the drive thru drawer. 5. Once treat bags are retrieved, please move ahead so that the vehicle behind you can participate in the trick-or-treating fun. All members of the community are invited and encouraged to participate. Please refrain from participating in the WFCU Credit Union Trick-or-Treat Drive Thru event if you have had close contact with someone diagnosed with Covid-19, travelled outside of Canada or to an area with a current outbreak, or had cold or flu-like symptoms within the last 14 days.
