Day 71- Discharge Day We are soo happy to say that Xavier is finally home. After what feels like a very long, never ending journey, we are all home safe and sound. No more oxygen support, no more monitoring and tubes/wires are all gone! Thank you so much for all the support we have gotten from you all over the past 3 months, it has meant so much to us.

Well it has been a crazy last few months! I'm a bit late on the update but after I spent a month in the hospital, Xavier James Colton decided to come in to this world on May 12th. He was 2 months early but he's been such a big strong boy from the beginning. He's still in the NICU, he just needs some respiratory support but we are hoping he can come home soon. I hope everyone is doing well and I'd like to thank you all for your patience with us navigating the store through all this. Jessica

Dear Wine By You Family We have had some very unexpected news over the Easter Weekend. Jessica has developed a complication in her pregnancy and is currently in Mount Sinai Hospital in Toronto. Her water broke early but she is not in labour. She will be in the hospital now until the baby is born. The latest update is that she is doing fine and no baby yet. We are hoping he stays in as long as possible! Normally, this would just mean that her coverage would take over early and... all would continue like it has been. However, due to COVID-19 concerns still being present, as of right now, we have had to make the decison to close the doors for traffic coming through the store. If you had an appointment already booked with us for bottling, you will be getting a phone call from either our employee Olivia, or one of our owners Arlene to arrange this being done. We kindly ask for everyone's patience throughout this unforseen circumstance. Orders may be backed up at this time. Please don't come to the store until you have been contacted or called the store. For putting new orders in, Olivia and Arlene will only be at the store certain days of the week for bottling and working on current orders and new orders. Just call the store and leave a message. Someone will get back to you when they can. This is how the store will have to be run as long as COVID-19 is a threat and we apologize for any and all inconveniences, and hope you can understand our changes through this time. So tomorrow, Tuesday March 31st, we will be back open 5 days a week but with shortened hours.... We are still going to be taking appointments for bottling, to ensure limited number of customers in the store at all times. Please email, or call the store to set up your appointment. If you would like to put a batch on, please call us at the store so we can arrange that. If you need any wine making supplies, we will be offering a curb pick up if you call ahead of time. As always, we continue to take all precautions we can in order to keep the store fully sanitized. This includes screening customers at the door and not allowing anyone in the store who has been travelling or experiencing any symptoms. Please make that easy for us by sending someone else to come in for you if any of the above applies to you. Also please don't enter the store until the previous customer has left. Wine By You family, We were really hoping it wasn't going to come to this, but in order to further slow down the virus, the government has mandated all non-essential business to close for 2 weeks starting Tuesday at midnight. What does this mean for your wines? ... This means tomorrow, Tuesday March 24th, is the last day to bottle or order any wine until we can re open. Please note we are still taking appointments so please call us or email us to set up an appointment. If you have wine that is ready and can't come to bottle tomorrow, please know we have time before we have to worry about any wines going bad. If you just want to place an order please call us tomorrow so we can arrange that. If you just pop by the store please respect the social distancing and do not enter the store if there is another customer in. And again, if you have been traveling or are experiencing any symptoms please do not come in. Please arrange someone else to come in on your behalf. We'd like to thank everyone for your cooperation in keeping our community safe.

To our valued customers As the COVID-19 virus continues with no signs of slowing down, we have to change some procedures in the store. We have not yet been mandated to close the store, so we still continue to take every precaution in our cleanliness and sanitization to ensure our customers feel comfortable coming in but need to make some necessary changes for the safety of everyone. We will be making sure we update you when we go back to our normal operations. Starting Tuesda...y March 24th, we will be making appointments for all bottling and ordering. This will help us minimize how many customers are in the store at all times. This will also allow time for complete sanitization of all equipment used in between customers. We will also be shortening our hours for bottling until further notice. Bottling appointments will be from 10am-3pm Tuesdays-Saturdays. We will be closed Sundays-Mondays like usual. If you do not have wine to bottle and want to place an order, please call us to arrange a time to come in. If you have wine due in the next couple of weeks, please contact us at your earliest convenience to ensure you get an optimal bottling time that works for you. Again, we kindly ask that if you have recently travelled and/or are experiencing any sickness at all to please refrain from coming in the store. Please have someone else come bottle your wine or start your new order. We want to be able to stay open as long as we can but will have to close if our customers and Jessica (who is pregnant) are put at risk. To our Wine By You family, We are watching closely as the global situation with COVID-19 continues to evolve. We wanted to let you know that we are taking this seriously and are taking every precaution here at our store. Unless more developments come, we will continue to stay open. ... We do have a lot of wine that is ready to bottle, so please read the steps below to see what we are doing here in order for you to be comfortable still coming in. That being said, if you are noticing symptoms, are currently sick, or have travelled outside the country in the last few weeks, please don't come in the store, contact us to make other arrangements to pick up your wine. The health and safety of our customers is a high priority for us. We are taking the following steps to ensure and support everyone’s health and well being at our store: - Being in the food/drink manufacturing business, our sanitation procedures are already at highest importance, but we are taking extra care into our equipment sanitation. - We are washing our own hands before and after interacting with every customer - Continual sanitation of all high touch surfaces including counters, tables, debit machine, door handles, bottle washer, and filling stations/corkers. - As always, giving all our customers access to our sink with soap to wash your hands at any time Thank you for being a customer and placing your trust in us.
