Job Description: The CAD Technician will be responsible for all facets of design drafting for our residential clients. Responsibilities:... Prepare clear, complete, and accurately detailed interior design drawings using AutoCAD in a timely manner to meet the project schedule Coordinate and execute necessary revisions as per mark-ups Complete drawings within prescribed timeline Adhere to company's drafting standards using design details and features from company's CAD library and sample files Draw based on product specifications and aesthetic guidelines without deviating from the overall design intent Perform other tasks as required Required Skills & Qualifications University degree in Architecture, Interior Design or equivalent preferred Expert level proficiency with AutoCAD, 5 years or more experience in Interior Design/ Architectural detailing Professional practice as an architect/ interior designer in a multidisciplinary environment Ability to understand and interpret architect's blueprints and specifications is a must Ability to translate architectural drawings into interior design language Production of complete interior design drawings including specifications, plans, elevations and details Uncompromising attention to detail Ability to work with minimal supervision Must be comfortable working in a team environment Must be able to travel to Downtown for meetings Must have your own computer equipment & AutoCAD software Portfolio of work required that exemplifies the level of details required as per Company's standards Ability to manage time effectively and work with multiple deadlines
