The next performance for Open Borders is on Saturday, July 13th as part of the Halifax Jazz Festival - Hydrostone Park at 2pm as part of their free concert series. Open Borders is an international music group based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. The music you will hear comes from Haligonians with diverse cultural backgrounds ranging from the Middle East and Central Asia - in particular, Iran, Afghanistan, Syria, and North America. Open Borders creates original compositions as well as reworking old traditional songs.
