We thought we’d take a moment to reshare and remind you of our procedures at the clinic these days! Clinic directives for Clients Regarding arriving for your appointments: 1. Please wait in your car until your therapist signals to you that it is your turn to enter the clinic. Our doors are locked to avoid congestion in the reception area so you will not be able to enter earlier.... 2. Please wear a clean disposable or clean reusable mask when you enter the clinic. 3. When you enter the clinic you will be screened for Covid-19 and your temperature will be checked. A hand sanitization station will be available for you to clean your hands upon entering the clinic. 4. We ask that you pre-pay for your appointment by using a contactless method, like tap or verbally giving your credit card number in person or by phone, or by sending an e-transfer to [email protected] prior to your arrival. 5. If you wish to rebook you may do so before your treatment begins as you will most likely exit from a different door then you entered into. You may also call to rebook at another time or as needed. 6. Your therapist, as always, will address any concerns you may have before your treatment begins and devise a treatment plan to suit your needs. 7. At this time we request that only the client receiving treatment at the clinic (unless the client is a young child) enter the building. Any family members or support workers must wait outside of the clinic. If you require help entering the clinic please let us know when you book your appointment and we will make sure we provide the help you require. If you should have any questions that you would like personally addressed then please call the clinic at 905-372-4518. Good morning everyone! Behan Construction has let us know that they will be starting to dig up Kerr St. starting today and that it will be difficult for us to use this entrance/exit for about 1 week. So as a temporary solution to this problem everyone coming into the clinic or leaving the clinic must use the driveway that enters from Division St. We realize this is not optimal so please drive slow and watch for clients as well as other cars who might be using the driveway at the same time. As of Monday June 1, 2020 we are pleased to be able to announce that our clinic will be able to re-open As per the guidance of the Chief Medical of Health we will gradually restart our practise complying with all Government requirements, the Ministry of Health’s requirements and our College’s requirements. Over the weekend we will be busily organizing and doing last minute preparations for our re-opening!... As most of you are likely aware, we will not be re-opening the clinic as of April 6, 2020 as we had originally hoped to do. Self-isolation measures have been extended for another 2 weeks and will be reassessed on a bi-weekly basis. In order for our clinic to be able to re-open we will require the green light from our Colleges. Currently the Chiropractic College discourages any non-emergent care as does The College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupunctur...ists and The College of Massage Therapists strongly suggests that we do not practise at this time. All appointments currently booked for the Month of April are cancelled as of today March 31, 2020. Our reminder system will contact anyone that has a booked appointment to notify them of their cancellation. We wish that all of you are able to stay safe and healthy and can enjoy the time you have with your families and your homes. We are thinking of you all and miss seeing you!
