September in #calgary is all about clean up. The grass is in its last days, the leaves haven't quite turned and the snow is still a few months away. Today we cleaned up a backyard tree. This tree acts as a natural shade for the backyard but the inner branches have died away from lack of light. We pulled out the ladder and cleaned it up. Now it has a lively feel, still adds backyard shade and will help the tree be healthy for years to come. In these pics we have before, after and the material that was kept by the home owner for their fire pit. And of course, we cleaned all the debris and gave the sidewalks a quick blow and go. September is here. The grass isnt growing anymore, unless you've been watering, and the snow isn't falling yet. You'd think a guy like me would get bored this time of year. But there's still lots of work to do around the yard. There's trees to prune, trash to clean, leaves to blow, hedges to trim and I know you all have that giant pile of sticks that need processing and binned. This is a great time for this clean up. Next month the leaves will fall and the snow will start. We won't have time then. This is our chance to catch up all of those little projects that have built up over the summer.
