In light of the ongoing pandemic restrictions, many of us are experiencing increased stress and pressure in our daily lives. Stress (even the positive kind) has been known to contribute to ailments such as muscle tension, headaches, stomach upset, insomnia, and depression. Without regular ways to reduce stress, these unhelpful physical responses can be exacerbated over time. Today we challenge you to become your own masseuse. Set the mood with scented oils, candles, music or anything else you find relaxing. Spend at least 10 minutes allowing your body to receive some tender loving care that it might not otherwise get.
