Is the cold weather getting you down? Is it hard to see the beauty of winter when it’s -30? During this time of year many people experience the winter blues and a reminder of summer can often help lift your spirits. Thus, for today we suggest buying yourself some beautiful flowers to brighten your home and your mood. You don’t need to wait for a special occasion or a significant other to buy you flowers, treat yourself to a beautiful bouquet today!
In light of the ongoing pandemic restrictions, many of us are experiencing increased stress and pressure in our daily lives. Stress (even the positive kind) has been known to contribute to ailments such as muscle tension, headaches, stomach upset, insomnia, and depression. Without regular ways to reduce stress, these unhelpful physical responses can be exacerbated over time. Today we challenge you to become your own masseuse. Set the mood with scented oils, candles, music or anything else you find relaxing. Spend at least 10 minutes allowing your body to receive some tender loving care that it might not otherwise get. Enjoy!!
