DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The duties of the Food and Beverage Server include but are not limited to the following: Greet patrons, present menus, inform of any specials, make recommendations and answer questions regarding food and beverage items Take food and beverage orders and relay to kitchen and bar staff in a timely and accurate fashion Manage multiple tables while ensuring guest satisfaction Up-sell wine and beverage items to compliment food selections Serve all food and beverage orders efficiently using proper fine-dining techniques Ensure guest satisfaction and report any problems or concerns to Dining Room Supervisor and/or Chef Maintain accurate guest charge accounts Present bills and process cash, credit or debit payments for walk-inpatrons Set up and take down buffets (when allowed back open) Laundry and folding napkins, polishing cutlery and dishes Ensure that the dining room area is properly set, cleared and re-set throughout the entire shift Ensure the dining room, bar, and main lodge including bathrooms and windows are always clean Be willing to help in other departments Qualifications: - Ability to be punctual for early morning shifts - Ability to work split shifts (most shifts) - Ability to work alone or as part of a team - Self-motivated - Ability to lift 25+ lbs and stand/walk for 8+ hours at a time - Able to multi task in a fast-paced environment - Take pride in a clean work environment - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Vibrant and interesting personality, outgoing and enjoys interacting with guests - Maintains a professional appearance at all times The candidate must be willing to relocate for the summer (housing and meals provided) and have previous serving experience. Experience with fine dining an asset. Must be able to multi task and work in a fast paced, high pressure environment. Must be a minimum of 19 years of age. Possession of Smart Serve or equivalent certification an asset. This position runs all winter with possibility of extension into our summer season which runs May-October. Year-round work and accommodations are available to the right candidate looking to stay long term.

Snowmobile Trail Update The trails thru Sioux Narrows are mostly marked! The powerlines down Long Bay to Yellowbird Lodge are fully staked. They are also staked thru Regina Bay and Lobstick Bay, but end there at this time until more staking is completed....
