Damn, I'm FEELIN' it today! I had 2 days where I did a lot of stress eating because like I said yesterday, life can get HEAVY! Those 2 nights of emotional eating sabotaged the progress I've made in the past 2 weeks... BUT... instead if shaming myself, I said ok it's time to get your head back in the game Jamie Your life & health depends on it!... So... Memories from October 17th... missing that long hair... ... this was the day I got the nickname Seven... I've felt like this place was family from day one but as soon as I was given a nickname I felt extra special! These guys (and ladies) make me feel appreciated for me as a person AND me as a worker! Story behind the nickname...... SOO many of my friends growing up called me James instead of Jamie so this past summer when I got new plates for my car that had 007 at the end I was stoked... I joked around saying "my name is Bond, James Bond"... I often feel judged for my workout journey as an instructor... If you haven't noticed... the theme for 2020 is CHANGE... and DAMN, I've been embracing it lately! January 2020 I was living in a condo with my fiancé February 2020 I moved out on my own into a basement apartment, & traveled alone to Florida March 2020 I was working full-time at a daycare and teaching yoga & fitness classes most nights of the week...until...I wasn't....the daycare closed for the March break that never ended...... April 2020 I adopted my 10year old Kitty Gizmo June 2020 traded the Jeep Wrangler I was driving for a bicycle July 2020 given a 2 month contract at my daycare September 2020 Bought a new car, started working at a retirement home, hired at Peloton, worked 2 full-time jobs at once for a few weeks, quit the retirement home October 2020 cut my hair... TWICE! November 2020... I'll be 33 in less than 3 weeks! All that to say... EMBRACE CHANGE! Change is inevitable; it's happening whether you want it to or not so why not grab that $H!+ by the collar and hug it in tight! So what's next? Well... the timelines are unknown but I'm going to go on a Cross-Canada roadtrip in a VW bus or a converted sprinter van, buy land, build... and the list just goes on... there are travel goals, career goals, life goals... just make sure ACTION follows the dreams & goals #change #embracechange #beYOU #LOVEyourself #SELFLOVE #2020vision #allthechange #changeisinevitable #dreambig #setgoals #takeaction
