Achieving meaningful results for constituents is the most rewarding part of my job. On August 10, I made a commitment to the Ancaster Area Residents that I will get Teskey Concrete to minimize the dust and noise coming from their plant on Murray Rd. I filed a complaint with the MOE and had Teskey over for a meeting at Queen’s Park.... A few weeks ago we met at Teskey's parking lot. Teskey cut down on the noise, cleaned up the pile of old concrete, switched from dusting to vacuuming & began sourcing a heavy duty fence! More good news in York Centre!

My brief Member's Statement of this morning with respect to Ontario Government's adoption of the IHRA definition of anti-Semitism. We didn't just stand up for the Jewish Community. We stood up for Canadians! We stood up for everyone!

NEW: Effective immediately, the Government is putting more than $461M towards a needed pay increase for Personal Support Workers. PSWs are an integral part of Ontario's healthcare care system & support our loved ones in times of need.

I support the Police and all first responders. Back at Queen's Park with a tribute to the Police, Fire and EMS as we mark 19 years since the September 11 attacks. First Responders run in to danger when everyone else run the other way. We owe them a debt of gratitude.

September 5 is a very special day for me. Today is my 25th anniversary of immigrating to Canada. Here is a short clip describing my Canadian immigration experience. On September 5, 1995, in the middle of the night, in the heart of York Centre..and I was in love from day one.

Helping constituents is my favourite part of the job. Met with Bathurst - Wilson area residents to discuss a potential role for MTO to mitigate the increase of traffic from the construction of the Neshama Hospice. We all want to see it built while keeping the community safe. #onpoli

Grateful to join Premier Ford, Mayor John Tory and Minister Fullerton to announce the construction of a 320 bed long-term care home at Humber River Hospital. Part of our new Build Pilot Program, construction will be completed by end of 2021!

For years, residents of Murray Road have suffered from pollution & dust generated by Teskey Concrete. Last Saturday, I met the residents to develop a plan to end this nuisance once and for all. Teskey must clean up their act.

Zionism is the historic connection between the Jewish people and the land of Israel. A connection ratified by the United Nations through its creation of the State of Israel in 1948. With very few and fringe exceptions, to be Jewish is to be Zionist. Along with GTA’s 200,000 Jews, I am excluded from this Toronto restaurant because I am Jewish. This is our Community’s breaking point. Now is the time for all Canadians to stand up for Jewish Canadians and affect an end to anti-Jewish Racism (Anti-Semitism). I am consulting colleagues in the legal community, government and law enforcement. I will have more to say over the next several days.

Today, many of our friends celebrate Philippines Independence Day. I extend my greetings and best wishes to the Filipino Community. I am fortunate to represent the largest Filipino Community in Ontario and proud of the contribution they make to our Province!

Back at Queen's Park to chair Justice Policy Committee hearings on Bill 161, Smarter & Stronger Justice Act. Thank you Attorney General Douglas Downey for common sense proposals to save time & expense on litigation in Ontario.
