Your Body Fitness and Nutrition 17.11.2020

Your Body Fitness and Nutrition Is Now Closed Our team at Your Body has been preparing for this possibility for about a week, and we feel like it is in the best interest of the health of our clients, and society as a whole, to shut down in-person workouts effective immediately. As of a few hours ago, our plan was to close Monday of next week, but after being reminded of the power of exponential growth and that even though there may not be any confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Th...under Bay, that doesn’t mean there aren’t any unconfirmed ones, and that one additional workout together isn’t worth the risk of exponential spread in our community. In light of this, our team has been working tirelessly to build an online training portal to support our clients with daily workouts, informative videos and more. Change is scary, and I understand that. We are all going through a big change in our lives. One good thing is that this won’t last forever and we can support each other. Change also can allow us to experience some of the most amazing breakthroughs in our lives. So many of my greatest achievements and accomplishments happened because of circumstances beyond my control that were the catalyst to positive change. The feedback I have been getting from some about working out from home is one of worry and fear. Will I fall back into my old ways? What will happen if I can’t see my friends every day? Will I be able to stay motivated at home without coming to Your Body? On the other hand, I have been receiving messages of optimism. Many are using this social isolation as a time to get back into the exercise groove, to have time to make home-cooked meals, and to try a new way of exercising through online videos and personalized coaching. Here are some opportunities I see for you: - The ability to focus on your nutrition more than ever. - The ability to incorporate your family into your workouts (we will have some family-friendly workouts for you). - The ability to take time to meditate, pray, or practise gratitude (we will have videos for this as well). - The ability to message daily with your trainer for extra support and accountability. - The ability to look inwardly and find out what are the most important things in your life. In closing up this message, I look at Your Body more like a family than a gym. Families stay together, we have each other’s backs. Continue to reach out to your workout buddies, and support each other however you can. On the other hand, I have been receiving messages of optimism.
