While 2020 was vastly different than anything we have seen in a long, long time, we were blessed to be able to complete some wonderful projects, make some terrific new friends, and help make the experience of spending more time at home more enjoyable for many families. Our latest successful tile project featured a kitchen/back hallway floor, main floor powder room, beautiful ensuite shower and floor and full basement bathroom. Both the ensuite and basement featured heated floors. Thank you to Peter and Julie for being so great to work for!

I have spent over 25 years renovating people’s houses. My projects have run from very small repairs for regular clients to complete tear out and rebuilds of 2-story homes. During that time frame I have worked hard to be as transparent and realistic as possible with my clients, and as a result I have been fortunate to develop many repeat customers. In a perfect world every project would be free of surprises, each would run without a hitch, according to schedule, and homeown...ers would never be stressed throughout the project. But the truth is that homeowners can often feel renovation projects might be intrusive, disruptive and stressful, particularly if unexpected surprises arise. At yourDreambuilders.ca we take pride in our open communication with clients. Starting with our initial site viewing through to completion of the project we are honest and transparent about design, scheduling and process. We take care to prepare our clients for what they should expect. We use an Alberta Government regulated contract. We are insured to protect our clients. And when we require the expertise of other suppliers and tradesmen we use companies that we trust, having built long term relationships with them. We have experienced in the 4th quarter of 2020 COVID’s impact on the supply chain, and expect that some products may be tougher to source as we hit 2021. Scheduling projects on short notice will likely become tougher to do, and longer lead times accessing some materials are expected. Pricing is also expected to be more difficult to hold, although our process could help that.
