Ever wonder what really goes on in the shadows? I’ve been a photographer, web designer, logo creator, marketing and brand designer for 8 years now, now. There are all sorts of challenges that come with the job, but one that’s pretty tough to shake lately is my exhaustion. I’m chipping away at it by interviewing assistants, and my morning reading and prayers. When I’m finally able to put it completely (or at least mostly) behind me, I’ll take my family to a hotel with a big pool and enjoy them. It’s never easy sharing your struggles, and posting this online honestly feels a bit terrifying. But you can’t fix problems in the shadows, so I’m bringing this one into the light. When I was first learning the ropes of being a photographer, I have to admit it wasn’t pretty. I made tons of mistakes, like the time I forgot my SD card and had to call my husband to get it for me, and I didn’t have much to show for all of my hard work. But I kept climbing, and eventually I got to where I am today, and I couldn’t have done it without #smallbusinesssupport, #InnovationWork, and friends and family. How do you give your very best ideas the steam they need to become reality? I usually start by sketching a design and running it by my very creative and sincere husband and kiddos. Next, I draw up a cost-benefit analysis and create a mock-up and we’re off! Not every idea proves successful, but it’s worth a try! What other peeks behind the scenes would you like to see?

Where are my fellow morning people? Ive learned to be most productive in the morning. And to really get my day off to the right kind of start, I like to begin with a sweaty run and a big, clean breakfast. How do you set yourself up for your best days

Can I be completely honest with you? Some days it takes a LOT for me to power through another busy workday. But I show up. I look at my kids and remind myself why, because one thing keeps me going. That thing? It’s LOVE. I love giving my clients my best, going beyond what I am asked for. And isn’t it love that makes the world go ‘round? Tell me about the love that keeps your world turning. Do you remember learning to ride a bike? I was 7 and my dad taught me on a big old bike. But I doubt any of us learned without a few scary moments and at least a couple of bumps and bruises. Im currently in the process of learning drone photography. Its been an uphill climb, and not without a scrape or two, but Im banking on my own success and looking forward to when I can look back at the struggle and say, Eh, its like riding a bike. My name is Alejandra and until the Good Lord calls Me away from this world to come home, I want to make it clear that I believe in Jesus Christ as the True Lord and Saviour. Despite the fact that I am human, and I fail sometimes, (a lot)! I believe that Jesus is the Son of God, sacrificed on the cross, died for our sins, and rose on the third da...y! He loves us all dearly (far more than we deserve) and forgives our sins if we are repentant. His Word says "whosoever believeth in Me , should not perish but have ever lasting life. This is the best challenge I have seen on Facebook, so if the Holy Spirit moves you and youre not ashamed, just copy, replace my name with yours, and make this your status update. Can I get an Amen for being a believer in The Father, Son, and Holy Spirit? I love all my family and friends.
