Due to the unfortunate move to Code Orange Covid-19 restrictions for Winnipeg and surrounding municipalities, the WGC is not currently accepting visitors for Discovery Flights and is not open to the general public We plan to review this policy once the Province moves our region back to a lower risk level. Our flying season for 2020 has come to a close. There were some excellent soaring days, some wonderful adventures flying longer cross country flights and as always a wonderful comraderie among our members, both new and old. Most importantly we remained safe from Covid and we are eagerly looking forward to 2021. Stay tuned throughout the year for updates and news on our club. It is hoped that we will again participate in the Manitoba Outdoors Show in February.

For those who didn't know Phil Stade, or don't know the Cowley wave that he loved to surf, check out this thrilling episode of the Air Dogs. Phil passed away on September 1st, was a giant in Alberta soaring and a cherished member of Cu Nim Gliding Club.

First day of operations this season for private members at the Winnipeg Gliding Club. Nice to have some normalcy back in our lives, though we are not open to the public yet
