Ok so I've been pretty fucking vocal today about the demise of the restaurant and bar industry but I honestly have to say that in our little Village of Ottawa, ... the Capital of what I consider the best country in the world, that I'm blessed to have some of the most incredible colleagues in the industry Please take the time to support the local venues like the Rainbow, House of Targ, Irene's, LIVE on Elgin, Mavericks, Minataure, and all of us struggling to stay compliant while bringing you the absolute best, safe, secure and entertaining music experience in the region. Aside from the live music venues, there are plenty of local restaurants and entertainment venues like Midnight Bites, O'Brien's, The Koven, Greenfields, Orange Monkey, The Nuden, etc that are also pulling thier weight to keep their heads above water and make sure that you are safe. The sanctions applied today will hurt all of our bottom lines, so please support local!

****DEAR EVERYONE REGARDING CTO*** We are certainly in some unprecedented times and there is a lot of question as to when, and how things can go back to everyt...hing we live and love which to many of us is live music...and what will that even look like?!?! Well folks, we have been beaten down by this financial landscape and there have been many obstacles even pre-covid as this business has never been easy, yes I have been here less then 2 years but have been in this industry touring, recording and owning concert venues for over 25 years. It has got much harder, profit margins are slim at best, the workload increased and it's just been so many curveballs to keep searching for the reasons to pursue the passion...which will never, ever die!!! (especially since it hasn't already which is a miracle in itself)....I did a lot of renovations over covid time upgrading the club with hopes to kick ass in 2021 but the well has run itself dry. So this weekend, the 26-28th will be our LAST 2 SHOWS indefinitely, with hopes to resume spring / summer 2021 but truth be told really not sure what will happen...government is not really helping, insurance companies not renewing policies and the cost of doing business out of reach... it's anyone's guess at this point and I really do not have a clear notion of what will eventually happen. I have spent a lot of time on the road travelling back and forth last 18 or so months missing my family and has take a toll on the work I do to support them so this is a bittersweet situation no less. When Call The Office was brought to the table as a business idea, I was no stranger to the iconic history, importance and crucial history of the club as a fan and touring musician...in fact you would hard pressed to match the legacy of this club Tony Lima has instilled on this club over almost 3 decades. All I wanted to do was help keep the legacy alive for past, present and future live music fans....as seeing the smiling faces in the crowd is the ultimate reward!!! It was a tall order, the building was all but condemned and interest had seen better days...staff cared a lot, locals cared a lot, city hall cared a lot, and I knew what we had to do. We worked our asses off, and it was for the most part by many appreciated as much as we appreciated them. I want extend very sincere thank you to all the staff, bands, music fans, promoters and all who have come though and shared their great formidable memories of the club....you are all amazing! We have unfinished business here but only time will tell if we will get the chance to continue, and if not us we hope someone will carry the torch. I can't wait until I am either behind the bar, or in the crowd again Come out Thursday / Friday or Saturday and say hello, catch a band, safely social distant of course or pull out those old show flyers and remember the great times over so many amazing years. Love and respect, DQ.

'' Culture et rapprochements sociaux, deux mots qui, malheureusement ne sont pas à l'honneur ces temps-ci. Ces soirées folles vont me manquer.
