Highlights of the December 10 Council meeting are now available. They include a generous donation of land for a Regional Ag Learning and Demonstration Site, by-law changes to encourage affordable housing and more. https://www.grey.ca/news/december-10-council-highlights

A new Regional Agricultural Learning and Demonstration Site is in development beside Grey Roots! The site, which will be operated by the Chatsworth and Owen Sound Agricultural Societies, will educate residents and students about the importance of agriculture and local food to our region. It will also be used to demonstrate new and innovative farming practices, and to host regional fairs and other events. The project is only possible thanks to a very generous donation of land to the County by Everett & Marylon Hall. Grey County and the Ag Societies are very thankful for this support!
