Aberdeen Mennonite Church Indoor Worship Information Sheet October 2020 1. Just like most stores and other public places these days, hand sanitizer will be available at the door for your use on the way in... and out. 2. When finding a seat, please allow for 2m space between you and anyone outside of your extended household bubble. 3. If you can't maintain 2m distance at any point, please wear a mask. Additionally, please wear a mask while singing - per the provincial places of worship guidelines. Once you are settled in your seat with 2m distance, masks are optional. 4. Instead of passing around the offering plate, offerings can be placed in the plate as you walk by on your way in or out. 5. Upon the end of the service, head outside without delay in the foyer. This area of the church building represents the hardest place to maintain 2m distance. 6. Services for the month of October will exclude Thanksgiving Sunday. This is to accommodate the constraints of a half-time pastor and the reality that inviting guest speakers should be approached with caution. Additionally, the number of extra numbers that may arise from family members attending on that holiday weekend is best avoided at this time. 7. Bring an open mind to church and grace for moments of inadequacy. Things may change as we do our best to create a worshipful environment for all members of the congregation. "Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them" (Matt 18:20). See more

June 27 announcement: Services will be held every second week in the Rec Plex parking lot starting July 5. We will meet at our usual time of 11:00. The setup will be much like our three drive-in services but with public gathering rules relaxed a bit, we don't need to be as strict about everyone staying in their vehicles. Feel free to bring a lawn chair and sit outside. You still have the option of remaining in your car and tuning your radio in to listen. Additionally, we can have a time of visiting after the service concludes. We will just stand the appropriate distances apart. The church building will remain closed for now.
