Has anyone ever encountered this situation? On a 600v carrier unit, when i isolate the lines from the unit i get 2 dead lines and 340v on the third one. But when the current goes through the circuit of the unit, somehow i get 80v on both dead lines. Unfortunately we werent allowed to replace the fuses (600V 30A) today. #hvactalk #hvac

Refrigerant leak detector is such an overlooked tool. I was able to find the leak on a mini split unit without having to recuperate the refrigerant, pressurizing the unit and emptying my bubbles all over the pipes. #testo 316-3 #hvactools #hvac

This filter dryer was so clogged that it pumped the system down and accumulated allot of oil! Wow!

If u think that spraying some no rinse evap soap on an evap coil is enough, think again. Here are the steps that i go through to a clean a dirty evap Note: i use 20x25x1 filters to prevent water splashing down the return (works on lennox units)

And dont forget to cean the P-traps!
