Celebrate Snowshoe Month !!! Special Olympics and Snowshoe Kawartha decided to partner to co-host a Province-Wide snowshoe event called "GOING VIRTUAL" Support Special Olympics by participating Feb 6th to Feb 20th Register at www.snowshoekawartha.com

Who loves winter? Who enjoys snowshoeing? Well - here's an opportunity for those Barrie athletes who do! SOO has partnered with Snowshoe Kawartha for their 202...1 event. Athletes can enter the "Going Virtual" competition, receive a race kit (register soon for this!) and "race" any or all of 500m, 1600m or 5km on your own. -> These three distances have been mapped out at Sunnidale Park; message us for details, or set your own course. -> SOO-Barrie council has also offered to cover the $18 cost to participate once you've completed your "race!" -> If you need snowshoes, please reach out to your coach or another member of council; SOO-Barrie has some pairs we can lend you.
