Happy new year! Hope everyone had rested during the holidays! This is a good start for 2021. The IRCC has extended the temporary public policy to allow those temporary residents who have lost their immigration status to apply for restoration of their immigration status until August 31, 2021. If you have been a visitor in Canada beginning August 24th, 2020, and have a job offer and need to restore your immigration status, this is for you. If you are a student, and lost your immigration status and would like to switch to be a worker, this can also work for you. If you are a worker and you lost your immigration status and would like to be a student, this can also be used to your advantage. Don't do it on your own and contact us so you can have this once in a lifetime opportunity to remain in Canada legally!

During this time of the pandemic, where Service Canada is only processing certain occupations, getting a positive LMIA became significant and noteworthy in our office, when in the past specifically in the years 2008 to 2014, this piece of paper comes out regularly from a fax machine. We could not help but share this with you that we have assisted a long term care home and a foreign worker who is a registered nurse in Ontario to be confirmed the offer of employment from Service Canada. All the work and details associated with getting this LMIA paid off! Congratulations to Chelsey Park and Sofhia!!!

December 9, 2020OttawaRecognizing the considerable contribution and sacrifice health-care workers have made in Canada throughout the pandemic, the Honourable Marco E. L. Mendicino, Minister of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship, announced today that on December 14, 2020, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) will begin accepting applications for permanent residence from refugee claimants who work in Canada’s health-care sector and provide direct care to patients.

Did you miss your chance to declare your children when you were sponsored by your spouse to come to Canada? This happy picture and message are from our first successful applicant for this program that was launched on September 9th, 2019 - a new pilot project to facilitate the immigration of certain family members that were previously excluded. May Ann was sponsored by her husband but due to lack of knowledge and incompetent advice of immigration consultants that assisted her,... she missed declaring her 2 children with her husband on her application for permanent residency. Years passed that they had to be separated from their children and almost lost hope of reuniting with them. When this program was launched last year, she came to us and we used the program to bring her children to Canada. We made it and now they are one happy family. Remember this program will end on September 9, 2021, and if you are in the same situation as of May Ann, contact us so we can assist you in sponsoring your kids. See more

Our new immigration levels plan for 20212023 sets out a path for responsible increases to the number of immigrants to help the Canadian economy recover from #C...OVID19 and lay the foundation for future growth. Highlights of the plan include: A focus on how immigration can help our economy, with approximately 60 per cent of immigrants to be chosen under economic immigration programs. A continued focus on innovative approaches where communities and businesses are encouraged to work together to welcome immigrants in communities across the country to help meet worker shortages. A renewed commitment to improve the processing of immigration applications, including spousal applications, by maximizing digital solutions. An increase in admissions over the three years of the plan to make up the shortfall in 2020 Additional points for French-speaking candidates under Express Entry, to promote the growth of Francophone communities outside of Quebec A commitment to admit up to 500 refugees over the next 2 years through the Economic Mobility Pathways Project, an innovative approach that helps qualified refugees apply for permanent residence through existing economic immigration pathways A pathway to permanent residency for eligible asylum claimants who were working on the front lines of the pandemic between March 13 and August 14, 2020, providing direct care to patients in health-care institutions. Congratulations Qiyr! We wish you an enjoyable journey as an international student in Canada. Qiyr is taking up a two-year Environmental Technician course at Centennial College in Toronto, Ontario, and started this September 2020 Fall semester. We worked so closely with him in choosing the course, getting him accepted for the program, and applying for a student permit for him. In our office, we make sure, we clearly communicate with our clients their specific goals when c...hoosing the right course not only for the purpose of remaining in Canada and applying for permanent residency but ensuring that the education and work experience they will get will land them on career opportunities that can improve their lives in the future. Today, the IRCC has announced that international students, starting October 20, 2020, are now allowed to travel to Canada to study if they will be attending a designated learning institution that has been identified by their provincial or territorial government as having a COVID 19 readiness plan in place. This is good news for those who are planning to study in Canada. The government finally listened! Contact us and let us help you take this important step in your life! See more

Do you want to change your career path in Canada, let us help you navigate the complex process of being an international foreign student in Canada! Reza was a foreign worker initially when she first came to Canada with a 7-month contract with a Canadian employer after paying a huge amount of fees to a recruiter overseas. When she was asked by the same agent to pay more fees to extend a work permit, she sought our advice and we guided her to take a different route and improve... her credentials. Now, she is starting a PSW course at Seneca College and hopes to obtain a job offer in the health care industry after she completes the course. With COVID -19 as the pressing and worldwide crisis, being a PSW and working in the health care industry is the best thing to do. Not only is she gaining Canadian education, but her husband could also join her in Canada with an open work permit. The couple will definitely be able to explore the many options to be productive and successful in Canada! See more
