I'm am pleased to see we are moving forward in relaxing restrictions. Along with many of you, I look forward to even more of our freedoms being restored in the near future and never going back.
Today, I mailed out a letter to the Parole Board of Canada trying to keep David Ennis behind bars. As MLA for Airdrie-East, I stand with the families of George and Edith Bentley, Bob and Jackie Johnson, and the Johnson’s daughters, Janet and Karen. The applicant has destroyed the lives of so many, and his presence would pose a serious risk to the people of Airdrie and surrounding area. Live update from the Premier Jason Kenney Alberta's Chief Medical Officer Dr. Deena Hinshaw and Health Minister Tyler Shandro on COVID-19.

LIVE at 4:30 - Watch Alberta's Chief Medical Officer of Health and officials provide an update on COVID-19 and the ongoing work to protect public health.
Today, Minister Doug Schweitzer announced small and medium-sized businesses have the opportunity to apply for a second payment from the Small and Medium Enterprise Relaunch Grant. These supports are for businesses that are affected by public health orders to ensure that they can safely remain open. Small and medium-sized businesses are the heart of our community and deserve additional support.
Yesterday, I cleared the air and spoke about the AHS Review Plan. There will be NO job loses for nurses, doctors or other frontline clinical staff members. Paitient care and the pandemic response remains our governments top priority.
Today is National Child Day. It is a chance for us to celebrate and empower our youngest citizens to go out in the world and leave a mark. Like many others, I am a mother, and can personally speak to how important it is to create a safe environment that children can grow and succeed in. Every child has a right to be safe and healthy.
Have Your Say: 80 per cent of Albertans support the police. Do you count yourself among them? Visit www.ucpcaucus.ca/haveyoursay to share your thoughts and ideas.
On Tuesday, November 17th, I asked the Minister of Health about COVID-19 testing, a topic that some citizens in Airdrie-East had questions about.
New, targeted public health restrictions in place. I understand we're all frustrated with COVID-19 but its not frustrated with us. Please let's work together to protect our Healthcare system so these measures are as bad as it gets. Note that gyms are still open but not group classes. We can do this.
