Meet Kayleigh! Kayleigh Gaiser (Finished Product Shipping) says her favourite aspects of her job are operating machinery and working with her team. I really like the crew I work with. They make the job enjoyable to come to work every day, she says. It’s exciting learning how to operate the equipment. For example, the stacker crane has a huge learning curve. It’s a very powerful machine. Kayleigh moved to Central Shipping three months ago. She started at Dofasco in 2018 ...at Bayfront Shipping where she learned how to operate forklifts and tractors, moving steel coils so the cranes could load coil carriers. Then she learned how to use the gantry and overhead cranes to load the carriers. There are a variety of Operations Team Member positions at Dofasco and many involve working with some pretty cool equipment. What about you? Who else likes working with heavy machinery?
