GRAIN GRINDING. Grain grinding is one of our most favourite activities at the studio because it does something - it takes kid power to create something completely new. Transforming a material into something new is magical for children. In the studio, we often hear that the rice powder is sugar, fairy dust, or something else imagined. The activity then takes on a sense of wonder and elevates the simple and ordinary act of grinding into something much more transformative and e...ngaging.
